Definition - ATL advertising is what conglomerate, nation wide companies typically use in order to advertise their products / company.

Potential ATL advertising ideas for our campaign. 

  • Broadcast adverts on mainstream TV channels such as ITV.
  • Audio Visual before videos on platforms such as Youtube to target young female audience as they will be digital natives. 
  • Make campaign a main focus of the macmillan / cancer alliance home page. 


Below The Line

Definition - BTL advertising is what more independent, local companies use in order to advertise the product / company.

Potential BTL advertising ideas for our campaign. 

  • put posters up around our local areas and city centre.
  • Ask local businesses if we can put posters up in shop windows 
  • Put posters through peoples letter box's.
