
Our target audience is of both male and female 12-18 year olds, due to the fact that our aim is to engage with young carers, who mainly vary between these ages. In order to attract our audience we'll use bright colours and assets such as technology. Since our audience are digital naitives, thes elements will stereotypically appeal to them. The fact that our target audience are within the same age range as us is beneficial as we know what would be attractive to someone our age and how to catch their attention. However, we do have constraits such as the fact that since the subject matter is very serious, we need to use colours, fonts and images that are suitable and don't represent our key message inappropriately, Therefore we need to experiement with what represents our theme and who we're targeting.
Since 12-18 year olds in particluar are of a detrimental age that can be heavily affected by trauamtic events and situations, detracting them from a normal teenage life. Therefore us allowing our target audience to win a prize to places such as alton towers can help them feel as though they are like an avarage teenager and experience the same stuff they do.
Regarding the placement of our poster adverts, we think locations such as bus tops, school toliets, classrooms and gym changing rooms are suitable places in order for our target audience to see them. Since, although they can't always go out, they are entitled to education and may have free access to places such as gyms if schools allow it. We'd like our audio visual adverts to ideally show before youtube videos and other related platforms such as snapchat and instagram in order to enagage with the digital naitives of our audience.
